Invitation Design | Multi-Piece Print System
This invitation package was designed for a real artist signing event hosted at the Art of Disney in Disney Springs, featuring artwork by Nathan McCullough. The project included a folded invitation, an informational insert card, and an RSVP reply card, developed as a cohesive print system centered on gallery presentation and event branding.
The visual direction was built around Collage de Disney, one of Nathan McCullough’s original artworks. Rather than presenting the piece as a single uninterrupted image, sections of the artwork were strategically cropped and layered throughout the invitation suite to create texture, movement, and visual depth across the printed materials. Dark tonal overlays and warm gradients were used to unify the imagery while allowing the typography to remain refined, elegant, and readable.
A structured layout and consistent typographic hierarchy helped create continuity across all printed components while maintaining a formal, gallery-inspired aesthetic. The folded invitation was designed to guide the viewer through the event information in sequence, while the insert and RSVP card reinforced the identity system through repeated alignment, spacing, and visual treatment.
The project focused heavily on print production considerations, including folds, safe margins, bleed setup, double-sided layouts, and multi-piece system consistency. The result is a unified invitation package that balances artistic presentation with functional communication across multiple printed formats.
