Hi, I’m Mark — a Graphic Designer and Photographer based in Tampa, Florida.
I create brand identities, editorial design, and visual storytelling that combine strong design fundamentals with real-world strategy and production experience. My work focuses on building visuals that not only look compelling but also communicate clearly and function effectively across print, digital, environmental, and social platforms.

I work primarily within Adobe Creative Cloud, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Lightroom, and Premiere Pro, alongside Figma and other modern digital workflow tools.
BACKGROUND
My path into design has been anything but traditional.
I first studied graphic design in high school, where I earned a Scholastic Gold Key Award for a logo and identity project created for my own design concept. Shortly after, I entered the United States Air Force, serving for 20 years in Health Services Management while continuing to create whenever opportunities arose.
Even during military service, creativity never left. I designed presentations, coins, print materials, and visual communications while developing the leadership, discipline, and problem-solving skills that continue to shape my work today.
After retiring from the Air Force, I built multiple creative businesses from the ground up. What began as photography evolved into branding, marketing, content creation, social media strategy, video production, and creative direction for brands with global reach and audiences in the hundreds of thousands.
In 2026, I graduated from St. Petersburg College with an Associate of Science in Digital Media/Graphic Design, combining decades of real-world creative experience with formal design education and a renewed focus on visual communication and brand systems.
EXPERIENCE & IMPACT
Designed the visual identity for the Florida Wildlife Corridor Foundation’s 2026 Expedition: Longleaf to Lighthouse
Created exhibition and editorial materials for Wild Space Gallery installations
Served as Creative Director for an internationally recognized brand, producing content, campaigns, and educational media
Built and scaled creative ventures that generated more than $500K in sales
Selected as 1 of 11 featured artists for the Ringling Underground Showcase
Recipient of multiple Fine Arts & Media Awards (FAMA) and academic honors
OUTSIDE OF WORK
When I’m not designing, you’ll usually find me behind a camera, out riding my bike, working out, or building and photographing LEGO scenes — a creative outlet that continues to influence how I think about lighting, composition, atmosphere, and storytelling.
